Registered Dietitian
Independent Contractor | Virtual or In Clinic | Start Immediately
Central Physiotherapy & Massage is seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our growing multidisciplinary rehabilitation team as an independent contractor, working virtually or in clinic.
This suits a dietitian who values flexibility, professional independence and collaborative patient care. The successful candidate will provide nutrition assessments, individualized treatment plans, education and ongoing support to patients with a range of health and wellness goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments
- Develop individualized, evidence-informed nutrition plans
- Provide counselling, education and follow-up support
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with other members of our multidisciplinary team
- Practise within all applicable professional, privacy and regulatory standards
- Maintain independent professional liability insurance and registration
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Alberta
- Authorized to provide virtual dietetic services to patients located in Alberta
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong communication, organization and clinical documentation skills
- Comfortable working independently in a virtual-care environment
- Experience in chronic disease management, weight management, sports nutrition, digestive health or rehabilitation is an asset
